New power limit for mobile high pressure pump unit.
The new JetPower 180 high pressure pump unit provides an extremely high power density as a single and multiple user system with a compact construction at the same time. The new easy to operate pump control with the integrated URACA Safety Monitoring safety concept guarantees safe operation. The mobile undercarriage also allows transport by car.

High power density
The JetPower 180 is the latest development of the JetPower range from the Bad Urach company and it provides full power anywhere at any time. The clear structure with horizontal pump (type KD724), directly mounted 180 kW diesel engine (240 hp) and integrated booster pump guarantee high power reserves even under harsh building site conditions. In this way an extremely torsionally rigid, stable but also light construction is achieved. The JetPower 180 is available in six standard pressure stages. For pump capacities these range from 104 l/min at 800 bar up to 28 l/min at 2,800 bar. In this way the pressure/quantity regulation can in principle be continuously variable. The high pressure pump, as the core component of the unit, is designed to be robust and not sensitive to contaminated water which clearly makes the claims for filter fineness and water quality easier to meet.
High flexibility in use
The new JetPower 180 with its twin axle chassis with trailer ball linkage and an unladen weight of 3,000 kg is suitable for transporting by car. This makes its particularly flexible and suitable for use on building sites. The sound protection hood has large, swivel-type gull wing doors which enable easy access so that operation and maintenance are possible without restriction. The unit is also available in a stationary version as an option.
In addition the variable connection options make the use of a wide range of tools possible. This means that spray guns, spray lances, surface cleaning units or the Multi Gun Unit can be operated without difficulty. The specially coordinated cleaning accessories mean that special tasks in building renovation, paint removal, rust removal, surface cleaning or heat exchanger cleaning can also be tackled.
Safety and economy combined
The adaptation of the high pressure cleaning unit to the respective conditions of use and to the tools used occurs via JetPower Control with the integrated safety concept URACA Safety Monitoring in accordance with DIN ISO 13849 PLd. All control and monitoring functions are entered via the menu controlled user interface and shown by means of plain text display - also in various languages. The control is virtually self-explanatory and allows safe handling, even after the shortest of training periods.
With the 180 kW (240 HP) power class the innovative, membrane controlled safety and work valves are used for the central switching functions as they are for the smaller JetPower units of the 125 kW (170 HP) power class. All the functions which were previously undertaken by switch and user shut off valves are now integrated into this soft switching work valve. The overload fuse of the working valve is adapted to the selected operating pressure automatically via the electronic regulation. This means that when there is an overload, due to incorrectly selected nozzles for example, there will only be small pressure increases and loads in the system. Expensive rupture disc solutions are not required either. A further operating advantage is the fact that this control is identical for all JetPower variants - both for the 180 kW (240 HP) and also for the 125 kW (170 HP) power class- so that uniform operating processes make working significantly easier and safer.
The 180 kW (240 HP) diesel engines are water cooled. The engine is designed in such a way that it has sufficient reserves of power available. This means that reliable and unrestricted use is possible even under the most extreme climatic conditions - such as at great heights or at high temperatures. Problem free maintenance of the drive unit in remote areas is assured through the global service network of the engine manufacturer.
