Wide power spectrum with 3, 4 and 5 plunger pumps from one series.

The new series of high pressure pumps from URACA provides an ideally matched power spectrum. The pump manufacturer now has a pump portfolio covering the whole power range from 35 to 2,600 kW (150 - 3,500 HP).

The new pump generation has been conceived both for intermittent high pressure cleaning and for continuous use in industry. Efficiency paired with cost optimization and low weight per unit of power has been systematically put into effect using state-of-the-art design criteria.

The result is the birth of a totally new pump conception with 3, 4 and 5 plungers. The possible use of many non-variable parts and the compact type of construction resulting from this provide the user with immense benefits in terms of cost, space, maintenance and service.

Optimum power grading within one pump series is achieved with only slight alterations to size. The use of several machines of different power levels from the same series holds additional benefits with regard to the storage of parts and maintenance. Further, the erection of all the pumps in the series can be executed horizontally or vertically. The real novelty is the P4-70 4-plunger pump. The power spectrum of this machine covers over 450 kW (600 HP), that of the P5-70 5-plunger pump over 550 kW (740 HP). The pressure range of each pump goes up to 2,800 bar (40,600 psi).
